Atta Hussein Awiessat is a photographer that was born in the town of Mount Scopus - Sawahreh from the outskirts of the city of Jerusalem in 1970. He started working in the field of photojournalism at early age, and was able to be one of the leading photographers and journalists in Jerusalem, Palestine and Israel.

Atta Participated in many international festivals and exhibitions dealing with the photographs around the world.
